i am waiting on a lot of stuff today. So, naturally, I want to write them down for posterity.

traveling
in less than two weeks from now (the 16th) me and my family will go (by car, for like an entire day) to Los Ángeles to visit the side of my dad's family that lives there. we are also going to go to disneyland/disneyworld, allegedly, but i am far more excited at traveling so far from home with my dogs, all the completely more unique silly cute photos i will be able take of them... Also seeing my grandma. Last december we traveled to my mom's homecity/hometown with them, which took like 3 days by car, somehow.
I don't know how common it is for other mexicans (especially those down south) to have family in the US, but we live in a border city and my dad's family lived here before my mom came to this city, so some of my aunts even were born in El Paso but lived most of their childhood on here, and then some years ago almost all of them moved to Los Ángeles, taking advantage of the legal loophole they were born into haha. One of them moved back to the american city right next to us, and sometimes we see her and she brings her baby daughter to our house.
in july, we will also go to seattle to visit my godmother (we were supposed to go on december but at the end we couldn't. it was funny, because at that time of the year it was so cold, and i thought that since we were going to travel further north we would be a lot colder, but then we went a little souther and it was so warm there. also, it was funny, because I hadn't seen her or my cousin in like, years, and never once did i question why they had disappeared completely from my life in all those years. i kind of hadn't thought about her in all those years ...? like, maybe she had been just very busy with her life, i dont blame her, because adults have a lot of things in their minds so its normal for them to forget stuff... but then it turns out she just almost moved to Canada. i have no hard feelings because its her life, she can do what she wants with it cus she's an adult, and i am sure its been hard for her moving to an entire new country with her entire family... july is also the month of artfight, so like, i am bit conflicted.. should i bring my 13 in drawing tablet, just draw with my phone or...? so confusing...

I just realized this while writing, but today I'll start taking my birthcontrol again. I am taking them to treat my more-than-possibly-passed-down endometriosis and the very real vaginal cysts i have, so since i am not taking them for the fertility (well, kind of-ish), i have to follow very different instructions than the ones on the box.. Like, i have to start taking one everyday at the same hour & minute (preferably) for 28 days before my real period drops. The first days of my period the last few months before I went on it was awfully painful. Once i started puking, i really could not stop at all, and i would get all weak and with low blood pressure until i got injected with some substance. and then i would start feeling all better.. But now that i am on birthcontrol, it's all a little easier. I want to start taking them way, way earlier than my last intakes (like 6PM) instead of taking them at 10PM or 9:36PM. wasn't a fan of how i had to take them so late because i am an earlybird and i like going to bed early (even if, i havent done that in a hot while)...
asked for the stand for my drawing tablet (which was in itself a bit of a doozy1). when i bought it, i didnt buy it with a drawing stand so i didnt have to waste so much money.. really bad idea because now I really want one
asked for a stylus for my phone. I used to have one like a year ago.2 I lost the lil cap thingie that was supposed to be a dust cover and kind of ruined it's magnet thing (because my tablet back then had a had a cover with a magnet to help close it better, and one day i felt reckless and like playing with it idk). and then i tried bringing it to school, which was a TERRIBLE idea because i think being under so much weight was too much for poor old nancy.. so i want a new one to set the record straight (?) and atone for my sins (?) or just be overall a better owner of such an amazing stylus pen lol. i also might have some genuine carpal tunnel or tendonitis (since i think i sprained my right one by accident in 2021 and the other one quickly followed, and, well, i havent went to a doctor about it...), so having a stylus pen would probably help me not feel like my wrists are about to give out at any moment unless i let them rest in the evenings everyday just from scrolling down twitter.. or at least i hope so
alas, i am but a simple teenager that likes silly and charming things. currently reconnecting with my silly roots. completely vulnerable to any sort of propaganda at all. so, i hope it is to no one's surprise that i want to buy some plushies
first, i want a shrimpku plushie. i heard the announcement that ricedeity was going to make a shrimpku plushie some weeks before my summer break, so i started dutifully saving almost all of my lunch money so i can buy her with my money whenever she comes out.. i've signed the google forms, but no new announcement regarding them has been made. as to why i want her? i love shrimp, fried shrimp more than anything to be exact, and i also love miku. have before i could even read any language
